How To Make Almond Crusted Baked Chicken Strips

Hello everyone, sometimes when we try to eat healthy it can become kind of boring eating your basic grilled chicken with your boring salad all the time. When our diets become boring it can become easier for us to break and eat the things that are going to set us back from reaching our fitness goal. Luckily

 for you that will no longer be a problem because in today's blog i'm going to give you the recipe to some awesome Almond Baked chicken strips that will add some spice to your diet so that you can enjoy a healthy meal and stay away from that craving.

 

 

Ingredients

 

-1 Cup of raw Almonds

-2 Bone less chicken breast

-½ t spoon of garlic powder

-½ t spoon of black pepper

-½ t spoon of onion powder

-1 t spoon of paprika

-1 Table spoon of macadamia oil or coconut oil

-2 Eggs

-Salt to taste

 

Items

 

-Parchment paper

-Baking sheet

-Bowl

-Flat plate

 

 

Steps

  • Pre heat your oven at 450 degrees

  • Blend the almonds with your dry spices until it reaches a bread crumb consistency

  • Pour the almonds onto a flat plate

  • In a bowl crack your two eggs

  • To the bowl add your macadamia or coconut oil and mix them with a fork.

  • Cut your two chicken breast into strips

  • Lay the parchment paper over the backing sheet

  • Dip the chicken into the egg mixture and then place the strips onto the flat plate and cover with the almond crust

  • Then place the chicken on the parchment paper

  •  Place the tray In the oven for about 20 to 25 minutes everyone’s oven is different so make sure you keep checking in

  •  After they’re in the oven for ten minutes flip them on the other side for another 10 minutes

 

 

ALL DONE! Now you can enjoy this healthy alternative of the average fingers.  This is a dish you can enjoy with no regrets .
